Level 5 – Expert secure behavior: guardian and guide of the road
Expert secure behavior is Level 5 of the Cyber Welfare Behavior Model: full behavioral maturity. At this stage, security is no longer a task to perform, but a way of being that guides your every action, online and offline. You have moved beyond the phase of purely personal protection to embrace a larger mission: making the digital world a more protected place for everyone, acting as a guide for those still on their way.
What you will find in this section
- Systemic knowledge: you possess a deep, comprehensive understanding of risks, threats and vulnerabilities.
- Instinctive security: secure behaviors are natural automatisms, applied consistently in every area of life.
- Promoting the culture: you actively commit to spreading the culture of security and sharing best practices.
- A guide for others: you are a point of reference: you accompany those at the first levels of the journey toward digital sovereignty.
- Caring for the road: like a guardian, you help keep safe the digital territory that everyone crosses.
Why this section: the Cyber Welfare method
In the Behavior Model, the Secure level is the territory of the traveler who doesn’t just know the road: they become its maintainer and the guide for those who have fallen behind. Technical mastery and behavioral integrity are put at the service of the community. In the Cyber Welfare Framework, this level corresponds to the Behavior dimension of level FL5 (Expert/Guide): personal maturity that becomes value for others.
Who it is for
People who have integrated security into their routine to the point of no longer having to think about it, and who feel the next step is sharing: professionals, trainers, team leaders and anyone who wants to turn their experience into a contribution for the community.
Requirements and details
Level 5 is not a static finish line, but an active role: promote the culture of security in your personal and professional network, mentor those at the first levels of the journey and take part in the Cyber Welfare Education Project, where you can contribute to training content and help the community grow along with you.
Frequently asked questions
What distinguishes Secure from Mindful?
The Mindful level protects itself with critical judgment; the Secure level extends that maturity to others: protective behaviors are now instinctive, and the mission becomes spreading the culture of security.
Is someone at Level 5 immune to risk?
No, no one is: threats evolve for everyone. The difference is resilience — the ability to prevent, recognize and manage even the most complex scenarios — and the humility to keep learning.
What can I concretely do at this level?
Mentor those who are starting out, promote good practices in your personal and professional network, and join the Education Project to contribute to the community’s training.
