Privacy Policy
In a project called Cyber Welfare, protecting your data is not just a legal obligation; it is our primary mission. We believe in data minimisation: we collect only what is necessary to offer you a secure and transparent digital awareness journey.
1. Consent Management
For the technical management of consent and cookies, and for the consultation of the detailed Privacy Statement, we use a dedicated software tool.
- You can find the discreet box for Consent Management at the bottom right of every page; click it to view the interface.
- From there, you can manage your cookie preferences in full compliance with the GDPR and read the legal technical specifications, which are always up to date.
- For all details on the Cookie Policy and legal specifications, we refer you to the consultation via the “Consent Management” widget.
2. What data do we collect and why?
Outside of the technical management operated by Confianz, Cyber Welfare actively requests only the essential data for direct communications and the certification process:
- Required Data: Name, Email Address, and Preferred Language.
- Purpose: Responding to your requests, sending you Program resources, and managing the validation process for the issuance of your Diploma.
- Legal Basis: Your explicit consent, provided when submitting forms or subscribing to the newsletter.
3. Where does your data travel?
As already indicated in the Terms and Conditions, your data interacts with three different environments:
- This Site (cyberwelfare.org) Does not require account creation. It is a public resource and does not store personal identifying data, except that which is managed anonymously or technically through Consent Management.
- Course Platform (LMS): If you decide to follow our online courses, you will use an external platform. The LMS service provider manages the data provided to it in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- Email Communications: We use third-party services for managing email and newsletters. These providers are selected to ensure high security and confidentiality standards.
4. Validation and Online Register
When you send us documentary evidence for certification (via email), this is used exclusively by our instructors to validate your skills.
- Diploma Transparency: Once certified, your diploma will be registered on our Online Register.
- Your Control: You will manage the visibility options of the diploma and decide with whom to share the reserved link.
5. Your Rights
At any time, you can exercise the rights provided by the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability).
